Wow. So awesome. A couple of questions that are killing me. First off what is the details on that vest with the double back pockets near the top? Also the model on those ACG’s would nice. This is just overflowing inspiration. Top notch as always Mr. Forts.

I love your blog. I’ve been following since the beginning. I don’t think I’ve ever commented before, which is strange since I’m a big commenter. When Secret Forts comes up in my reader I always take pause. There’s something that feels like home/childhood. Thanks.

Beautiful stuff, although if I see another shot of those Jake Davis matchbooks I might light the house on fire. Seriously, though, this post is like a lesson in the “heritage” part of so-called “heritage” fashion – not just what it is, but why it’s valuable. Nice work.

This is a really strange question, but do you keep your heritage red wings tied really lose? I ask because I always see people online that seem to have a ton of room between the sides compared to mine.

Also, I second whoever said a few weeks ago that they’d be curious to see how you store all your clothes. I don’t feel like I have a quarter as many clothes as you do and still I have a hard time finding a place to put them all.

There is an ideal here I’m interested in. It’s like Steve McQueen at Walden Pond.

Real winter here near Toronto, Ontario started today – ACTUAL SNOW – so I’ll be taking advantage of getting to wearing the assortment of toques, sweaters, jackets and such over the next few days at least. No complaints from me about the snow – after all, I’m Canadian.

Thoroughly enjoy your site. Was wondering about the women’s grey jacket near the beginning of the list. What brand is it?

Thanks for putting such a great list together!

      Jennifer,
Engineered Garments has a women’s line by the name FWK. That photo is from the wonderful Bows & Arrows in one of my favorite citiies, Austin, TX. Looks as if that particular jacket is sold out now, but some things remain, on sale as Spring is arriving. Check it out. Tell em Mr. Forts sent ya.
